the last two months
before i get into trying to post regularly, i thought i might condense the last two months or so into one post summarising what we’ve been up to.
25/26 july moved to filey. had a week of doing tourist things; muston scarecrow festival, filey donkey derby, trips to the beach, filey family fun day. 1 august; work contract started. parents visited, found out where scarborough accident and emergency is. went to railway museum, york. attended opening of sports area for filey young people. dentist. back to mk before pilgrimage to greenbelt. work starts to pick up. visited st thomas’ gristhorpe, one of the churches in the parish. have a nose round filey secondary school. abi starts school. flying visit to shropshire for a birthday party, stay with brookes’. get commissioned by bishop of hull. jacob starts playgroup. wait for tour of britain cyclists to come through filey, route is changed at last minute, we wait for nothing. town joint churches youth group starts after summer break. meet assistant head of filey secondary school. scarborough deanery children’s event. firestarter service led by young people. meet with town councillors and county council youth service staff about joint working. go to north cre. family up for jacob’s birthday. broadband is activated, woohoo. coffee with jon steel. present what we’ve done so far to pcc. urban saints training in middlesborough.

on monday broadband was activated in our house. after a little over two months after telling pipex we were moving house and we’d like to stick with them, i gave up waiting on them, called bt and was online in 8 days.
now we’re online plan to use this blog to let friends and family know what we’re up to.
